No One Understands

I’ve been searching on Craigslist everyday and every night with high hopes to find a second full-time job. At first I was real hesitant about working two jobs, but now I realize that I want to be able to afford the finer things in life. My pastor once said “Don’t be jealous of what other people have, if you really want it, get it”. Therefore, I’m going to work my butt off just to make myself happy 
In my eyes that is perfectly fine, however my fiancee and my family will totally not understand my decision.
First off I know you are wondering why I’d have to work two jobs if I have a fiancee. Well times are pretty rough and there isn’t a lot of work around. We search and search EVERYDAY, send e-mails and resumes EVERYDAY and we still haven’t found any luck for her yet. That doesn’t mean we’ll give up because I know there is an employer out there that will accept her open availability 
Now on the second hand, even when we do find her a job – I still want two jobs. Living in America is quite pricey! If I want to take regular vacations, afford a new car payment, full coverage insurance, have babies some day (especially because I WANT TRIPLETS) – we’ll probably both have to find 2 jobs each.
College? Yes, I have an Associates degree, but in this lifetime an Associates degree does not take you anywhere! I’ve been holding out on returning to school because I’m not sure what I’d like to major in yet. I’d like to have my own baby clothing store business however Once Upon a Child in KY doesn’t look too busy every time I drive by.
Hopefully someone will understand me eventually. I’m not trying to be difficult, I just want to stop daydreaming about the things I could have. With a second job I WILL HAVE THOSE THINGS INSTEAD OF WINDOW SHOPPING FOR THEM!

My fiance and I make several trips to the video store per week. This visit I decided to finally rent some workout DVDs! I’ve been wanting to lose weight and get in shape for some time now but it’s so difficult when you’re addicted to food! I can honestly admit that I love to eat. I can also honestly admit that sometimes I eat so much I feel like exploding which brings my self esteem down very low and it makes me depressed. So this time I’m not going to tell myself that I’m going on a diet because 9 times out of 10, I’ll mess up and then I won’t care after all. I’ll just start working out and try to tone my body up – hopefully I’ll see some type of results and then I’ll pray that my eating habits fall into place soon after.
I’m currently looking for a second job. Don’t get me wrong, I love the fact that I actually have a job, however being paid $7.50/hr without 40 hours a week is not the greatest. I’d like to receive at least $9-$14 dollars an hour. I always keep my eyes out for different positions and I actually see that NYC offers a lot of job opportunities with decent pay. I currently live almost 14 hours from NYC, so no it’s not a short term goal to relocate there… But I do have my eyes open and I’m willing to accept a job and make it into a career if I know it’s pretty worth it.
[edit] Interesting facts about NYC: They recognize same sex marriage, and two married women (as a couple) will BOTH have the ability to be listed on the child’s birth certificate. [/edit] – This is great for us! We may be moving to NYC after all (not set in stone or not even processed thinking about it but it’s a question still hanging in the thick air).
Well I missed 16 & Pregnant last night so I’ll be catching up tonight. I truly do miss having cable because I’m losing out on all my favorite t.v shows such as The Braxton Family Values, Tia and Tamara, Lifetime Movie Network, etc. Dish network wants to charge me $200 as a one time fee in order to cut my cable on… uh, I think I’ll wait on cable and continue renting from Family Video, lol. Goodnight friends!
How In the World?

My fiance and I had a margarita day today I took a few sips and felt sick as a dog! I cannot handle liquor very well, and I don’t even like it very much either. Maybe it’s because I have diabetes and I take insulin shots (uh oh)!
Any who, this post is based off a question for whoever decides to read it. I view my FB account and visit different personal websites and I always seem to see that people have the ability to take regular trips to different states and cities. How in the world are they able to do that? I realize if I want to go anywhere, I have to PLAN and have MONEY in order to leave. I plan EVERYDAY but I never have the funds to travel for vacation 
It seems like everyone is spoiling themselves by going to the salon and pampering themselves, or purchasing new $1,000 laptops and cell phones, etc. HOW IN THE WORLD ARE YOU ABLE TO DO THIS? PLEASE GIVE ME SOME TIPS SO I CAN DO THE SAME, LOL.

Court was pretty scary! I plead guilty to driving uninsured However, thank God the judge only gave me a $235 fine! Also, I’ll have to keep insurance on my vehicle at all times from now on.

A few things I didn’t mention on my last post
*Rent went up to $500 per month with no utilities (1st apartment was a studio and it was wayyyy too tiny so we didn’t move into that one)
*Our new apartment is one hour and two minutes away from my job
*I’m scared to go to court for my no insurance ticket (However, I do have insurance now so hopefully the judge will go easy on me)
*I’m a little ready to find a new daycare job that pays much more
MY DAYCARE KIDS AND I MADE THESE CUTE LITTLE LADY BUGS TOGETHER. I BASICALLY CUT OUT WHITE PAPER FOR THE BODIES, WE PAINTED THE BODIES RED, THEN WE PASTED BLACK CONSTRUCTION PAPER FOR THE DOTS, AND I MADE CRINKLY LEGS TOO I LOVE DOING ACTIVITIES WITH THEM!

Hello everyone! I’m sorry about my leave of absence! It seems like I’m ALWAYS working plus I don’t have a fast working computer in KY. I’m taking my personal computer back with me this week, therefore I’ll be able to post more =)
We found an apartment, YAY! It’s REALLY nice too! It’s $400 per month (utilities included), no paper application, no application fee, month to month, nice hardwood floors and modern updates/looks. At first I was getting depressed about finding a place, an apartment that I actually liked. Then I went on Craigslist yesterday and called one number and found out that I’ll be moving in next weekend hopefully
One tip to everyone: PLEASE NEVER DRIVE WITHOUT AUTO INSURANCE. I was speeding a couple weeks back and the cop stopped me. I didn’t have auto insurance and NOW I have a court date! AHHH! Worst nightmare ever! Plus since I moved to KY, my liability is $425 WITH MOST COMPANIES!!!! GEEZ!!! IN OHIO FULL COVERAGE IS ONLY $280!!!!!!

It’s a beautiful day outside today! One thing that I am noticing; I dislike sweating but I enjoy the warm weather! You don’t have to worry about waking up to ice storms and falling and slipping all over the road. Freezing your butt off! Wearing thousands of layers of clothing… Sweet
I hope everyone is doing fine! I’ll be starting my college courses here soon, this time around it will help me open my daycare center this summer/fall. I’m really excited to open my own business! I want to be a successful business owner. I’ve worked in many daycares so I’ve seen how some directors fail in many ways. Therefore, I want to do things the right way. I want my employees to love their jobs, for parents to feel trustworthy about bringing their child to my center, and for the children to receive attention and good care. I can do this! =)

New Beginnings

I’ve been daydreaming for a while… Now I want to take my time and get the rest of my life back on track. I have a few short/long term goals that I’d like to accomplish sooner than later.
1. Start repairing my credit history. I’d love to be able to apply for a credit card and actually be approved or even apply for a car loan and drive off the lot with a brand new shiny car!
2. Learn how to save and manage my money. I want to be able to have an extra cushion or emergency fund that can sit in my bank account and collect interest.
3. Get married and start a family. My fiance and I have been together for 6 years, it’s definitely time to work on marriage and have children
4. Purchase a house. My dream house has at least 3-4 bedrooms, a huge yard, finished basement, large eat in kitchen, several updates and modern looks!
5. Open my own daycare center and direct it too.
I hope my dreams come true soon!
Lord, I ask you to bless my fiance, my family and friends. Make sure everyone is safe, that their health is good, and that you continue to bless them in many ways. Amen.

Hello everyone! Long time no hear, I’m finally back but not for long
We finally relocated to KY, YAY! It’s funny how I searched for a job in Ohio for several months and found no luck… Then moved to KY and found a job within a week. I’m so happy because I’ll be a Toddler Teacher again! I had training today and the trainer was awesome and very informational! I start work tomorrow, cross your fingers and wish me luck!
My associate’s degree is over with, congrats to me! My momma owes me money for finishing school, lol! Anywho, I’ve been debating on where to go for my bachelor’s degree??? My top choices are all online schools which are returning back to Kaplan University, or applying for Ashford University, Phoenix University, or Walden University. All of the schools seem pretty sweet! Kaplan isn’t sweet because they must NEVER communicate with one another. I’d call one day and someone would tell me this, then when I’d call back in a week it’s something totally different!!!! Well, well… wish me luck peeps! I’ll talk to ya soon!
